Nicholas Lee is a proud University of Minnesota graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a wide range of academic interests. He previously worked for Visteon Corporation as a manufacturing engineer co-op, refining manufacturing technologies and processes for automotive fuel pumps and delivery modules. He also worked as an undergrad research assistant in the University's motion control department

His affiliation with BlueSky Designs began with his Mechanical Engineering senior design project, where he assisted in the creation of a powered mounting arm for people with disabilities. Nick hails from a family of architects, and has always been interested in making “neat” stuff.

Jack of all trades and master of some, he is not afraid to pick up new skills, tools, or job descriptions.

• Grew up in the tropical commonwealth of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (a far cry from Minnesota’s climate).
• He speaks fluent Bahasa Melayu.
• Enjoys climbing big rocks for fun. Still afraid of traditional climbing
• Has practiced martial arts in some form or another since he was 6
• Kayaking crowning achievement: a 20 kilometer sea kayak trip when he was 10 years old.
