Packing your Mount' Mover for shipping

In the event that you have to ship a Mount' Mover back to BlueSky Designs,
Please use the original box!

Bottom-Insert Box

1. Locate the Bottom-Insert Box

This half of the box has the cut-out securement flap that conforms to the Mount' Mover when inserted
Open up that flap.

If you are returning a 24" post, it can fit in this compartment diagonally

3. Insert arm into inner flap by the wrist

With the wrist and tiltplate on the inside, insert the Mount' Mover into the "U-shaped" cutout in the flap.
The Arms, Paddle and Hoop are on the outside of the Bottom-Insert Box.
Please note that if you are sending your QRP for upgrade, you will need to return it as well. Make sure it is attached to the Mount' Mover

4. Fold-in the securement flap around the Mount' Mover

If you are returning the single arm, fold this in - then skip to Step 8

Using the Hoop to expose the arm

5. Using the Hoop to expose the arm

To expose the arm to secure it with the twist tie - you will have to actuate the hoop (pull it away from the paddle) to move the arm.

With the lower arm out of the way, use the twist tie to secure the arm.

Using the hoop, move the arm back into the position shown in the picture.

Align the two box "arrows" and insert them into the Lower-Insert box.

If you are returning any accessories, you can pack them in this open box.
(No accessories are shown in this picture)

Padding the link

To properly secure the arm for shipping, insert the two foam blocks to isolate the link.
If you no longer have these foam blocks, you can use crumpled-up paper. A paper grocery bag works really well.
Any accessories should be padded in the same manner to make sure they do not fly around in the box during shipping.

The stacked-inserts will fit in the shipping box perfectly.

At least apply 3 strips of tape across the last flap to make sure it is secure.

13. Tape on the shipping label, and drop it off at your nearest UPS store!
