C3

Attach an Adapter Plate 4 with two bolts through the slot in the armrest bracket. Orient the AP4 so the threaded holes are forward.
Use lock nuts or lock washers with a nut. Tighten securely.
Attach another plate, such as the L-Angle Extension Plate to locate the Wheelchair Bracket so it is to the side or front of the armrest.
This example shows the L-Angle Extension Plate attached lower, to offset the Solid Wheelchair Bracket so the mount can be positioned lower.
Attach the Solid Wheelchair Bracket L-Angle Extension Plate using the bolts and nuts supplied.
As you plan how you are attaching components, keep in mind you can orient them in different ways to offset them inward, forward and out. You can keep the post and mount in closer to the person, in front of the armrest to minimize the overall width.
Place the post in the Wheelchair Bracket, attach the Mount and decide if you like the resulting position. Change the hardware if necessary. Review information on Offsets for more ideas.
Attach the tray or device to make sure it is positioned where you need it. This photo shows the positioning in a seated position.
As you can see, the mount and tray are in the same position relative to the person in a standing position. This is the benefit of attaching to a standing wheelchair's armrest where possible. The armrests on a standing wheelchair are typically more stable.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

The Levo C3 is a power standing wheelchair. When attaching to a standing wheelchair, if you want the mounted device to remain in the same position relative to the person when in either a seated or standing position, attach to the armrest.

The armrest plate includes a slot which 1/4" or M6 bolts can fit into. Attach an Adapter Plate to the plate, and use additional plates as needed, such as an L-Angle Extension plate, to position the wheelchair bracket out from under the armrest, to the side or the front.
