BlueSky Designs/Mount’n Mover Repair Contract - US Version

BlueSky Designs herein referred to as “we”, “our” and “us.” The customer/party seeking repairs is herein referred to as “you.”

Our promise:

For our standard Mount Service in the US:

We will issue every Mount’n Mover repair a Return Merchant Authorization (RMA) number.

Repair costs cover a standard repair1 and return shipping within the contiguous United States2.
If you are shipping your mount in its original packaging, we will email a return ship tag within 2 business days of receipt of payment (and an email address). The repair will ship via UPS Ground.

Your arm will be repaired so that it passes the same functional quality checks as every new Mount’n Mover.

Out of Warranty Standard Repairs cost $150 USD.

Upon receipt of the arm for repair, standard service will be completed and shipped within 5 business days.

If we determine your Mount’n Mover exceeds our standard repair1 coverage, we will halt repair and contact you for authorization for an escalated repair and the extra costs before moving forward. If an escalated repair is not approved, we will return the arm as-is to you.

 

1  Standard repair is at the discretion of BlueSky Designs. Exceptions will lead to escalated repairs. See standard and escalated repair list below for details.
2  Some shipping exceptions apply if shipping to remote location within the contiguous US. For international repairs will be addressed on a case by case basis.

 

Customer agreement:

  1. You understand and agree to the terms of this Mount’n Mover Repair Contract.
  2. You acknowledge we will only repair and return Mount’n Movers with a BlueSky-issued RMA number.
  3. You will clearly mark the RMA number on at least two sides of the box.
  4. You will use the return ship tag and drop the box off at a UPS store or schedule a UPS pickup as needed.
  5. The Mount’n Mover arm will be removed from the post, collapsed, and shipped on its own, in a box not exceeding 12”x14”x7”. If your box exceeds those dimensions, you will inform us of the new box dimensions and await an updated UPS tag or be charged penalty fees.
    You may ship your mount to us without a BlueSky issued UPS tag at your own cost (steps 1-3 still apply).
  6. You will consult with us regarding any parts in need of repair beyond the arm (3 arms pictured below).

Standard repair includes:

  • Full diagnostic quality check: lock-setting, lock engagement, and release mechanism
  • Rebuild the entire arm, with checks at every joint for breakage or wear
  • Replacing any broken or worn components within the locking mechanism
  • Ensure that the release mechanism is free from interference and operates smoothly
  • Clean and disinfect external surfaces
  • Outgoing quality checks
  • Full record of work performed available upon request

Escalated repair(s) include:

  • Replacement of major sub-components (arms, caps, hoop, paddle, wrist, tilt mechanism)
  • Cleaning of lubricant or other liquid from inside the arm
  • Joint reassembly
  • Anything that exceeds time and scope of standard repair

We guarantee your repaired arm passes these quality checks:

  • Joints (Shoulder, Elbow & Wrist) checked to set lock positions, lock holding, and release
  • Entire Mount’n Mover tested to lock and move 15 lbs
  • Tilt lock and release

Repair and Loaner Rental Agreement:

A loaner Mount’n Mover costs $100 USD when shipped within the contiguous US.

A non-warranty Repair costs $150 USD when shipped within the contiguous US.

  1. If you opt for a loaner Mount’n Mover for the duration of your repair, please provide a Credit Card along with billing contact information.
  2. Late fees are $25 per week charged on the first Monday of each week starting four weeks after the loaner is sent out until the loaner is returned.
