Chunc chairs have a specific extrusion tube and clamps you can attach with. The extrusion is aluminum, and holes may be drilled through if you are unable to get the Chunc clamps.
Approach 1: The Chunc mobility bases have clamps that securely attach to their tubes. We would suggest getting 2 of these, and attaching our Adapter Plate 4 to it. Approach 2: Drill through the extrusions and use nuts and bolts to secure an Adapter Plate.
This image shows the tube clamps which could be used for attaching an Adapter Plate.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Use Chunc's clamps and an Adapter Plate to create a bridge clamp. Use an Angle Adjustment plate to orient post to vertical.
