Wheelchair Bracket adapter

The Daessy BSD wheelchair bracket adapter allows attachment to Daessy inner pieces. This expands our capabilities to securely attach to different wheelchair frames.

Adapter Plates can sometimes attach directly to existing Daessy hardware. NOTE: Daessy inner pieces require 1/4-20 screws.
The Solid Wheelchair bracket then attaches to the Adapter Plate.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

How to mount: 

The BSD (BlueSky Designs) Wheelchair Bracket adapter attaches to a Daessy Inner Piece. If you already have a Daessy clamp, and want to attach a Mount'n Mover, this provides a means of attaching a square clamp.
