Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

How to mount: 

Bridge the adapter plate across the 1" bridge clamp on the horizontal tubing and the 1" bridge clamp on the vertical foot hanger tube.  If the chair is always at an angle use a WC-AAP plate to correct the post clamp (WB2) to vertical. 

 A second option for attaching would be to use the coved spacers and attach the adapter plate to the horizontal tubing. .  Use "through" holes and slots in the adapter plate....never threaded holes.  The adapter plate can be configured horizontal or vertical.
