Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

How to mount: 

Mount the two 1" collar clamps on the downward slope tubing.  Bridge across the clamps with an adapter plate (WC-AP4 or WC-AP2).  Use a Angle Adjust Plate to correct the angle so the post can be mounted vertical. 

Use WC-RMixed-Set  Bridge Clamps for the initial attachment to the wheelchair tubing (vertical tube and curved smaller tube) if the wheelchair has the swing away foot hanger
