Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

How to mount: 

The Helio A6 has 1- 1/4 inch tube frame on the main frame.  The foot hanger tubes are 1".  Use two 1-1/4 inch collar clamps and span them with the WC-AP4 plate.  Attach the WC-AAP plate to the AP4 plate and then attach the WB2 (post clamp ) to the WC-AAP plate.  Find the correct hole spacing on the AAP plate so the post can be vertical.  NOTE: In this configuration the foot hanger cannot be removed .
