Triplex

Bischoff & Bischoff Triplex power wheelchair
Determine diameter of tubes behind leg rests. If it is 1", attach a 1" Round clamp to the vertical tube section. Otherwise, use Collar clamps of the correct diameter and an Adapter Plate to create a bridge clamp. Use offsets as needed.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

NOTE: we are not sure of the tube size.

If the tube is 1" diameter, use the 1" Round clamp to attach to the vertical tube behind the leg rests. If it is not 1", use Approach 2.

Use an Adjustable Angle plate if you need to achieve a vertical post orientation. Attach an L-angle extension plate to offset away from the seat and arm rests. Attach the Wheelchair Bracket.

How to mount:

NOTE: we are not sure of the tube size. Be sure to measure and order the correct collar clamp sizes. The horizontal and vertical tube sections may vary.

Use two collar clamps and an Adapter Plate to create a Bridge clamp. Attach one collar clamp to the vertical tube, and one to a horizontal section of the tube. Alternately attach both collar clamps to the vertical tube, using the Adapter Plate to create the Bridge.

Use an Adjustable Angle plate if you need to achieve a vertical post orientation. Attach an L-angle extension plate to offset away from the seat and arm rests. Attach the Wheelchair Bracket.
