Use the holes on the side frame or square tube to attach
Approach 1: Use bolts and lock nuts through the square tube; position threaded holes outward
Approach 2: Attach to the tube, through the holes; use coved spacers; AP2 is shown.
Attach L-Angle Extension to offset it away from the armrest tube
Option: use another L-Angle Extension plate to offset it further out or forward
Attach an Angle Adjust Plate (WC-AAP) and Solid Wheelchair Bracket to get the post vertical

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Attach Adapter Plate using thru holes on Square tube for tie-down. A longer Adapter Plate can be chosen if needed. If the tie-down is in use, use longer bolts and either sandwich it or attach the Adapter plate to one side, the tie-down to the other. Use the L-Angle extension and Angle Adjust plate to adjust the post to vertical if needed.
