Catalyst

Ki Catalyst frame has different potential spots for a Bridge Clamp, but the brake may make the upper option difficult.
The recommended spot for a Bridge clamp; an Adapter plate and two collar clamps (1.125") form the Bridge. An Angle Adjust plate and L-Angle Extension may be used to offset it so it doesn't interfere with the brakes.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Attach using a 1.125" Collar Clamp on the lower horizontal tube and a 1.125" Collar Clamp on the vertical tube, below the footrest hardware.  Bridge across the collar clamps with an Adapter Plate 2.  If you bridge across the horizontal and vertical tube you will need a WC-AAP (angle adjust plate) to correct the post clamp to vertical.   If needed, an L-angle extension plate is attached to offset the Wheelchair Bracket away from the brakes.

You can also attach two 1.125 collar clamps to the vertical tube.  Bridge across with a vertical WC-AP4 plate.  You may need a WC-LAE plate to bump the post clamp out to avoid the brake handle.
