PR10

The upper section of the frame has 8mm threaded holes. The upper section is offset by 4mm, so spacers are needed.
Align the 8mm slot and hole on the Adapter Plate 4 with the threaded holes. The threaded holes are slightly lower than the slot, so spacers are required for plate positioning.
Frame offset shown from above.
Two 8mm bolts are required--not supplied.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Attach Adapter Plate 4 to side frame, using M8 bolts (40mm long). Two spacers (4mm minimum) are needed to offset the Adapter Plate to avoid the lower frame. Use the 8mm hole and th 8mm slot to attach, spacing the two bolts as far apart as possible for the most secure attachment. Attach the Solid Wheelchair bracket to thr AP4, using Offsets as needed.
