Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

The Quickie 646 SE uses two Dovetail nuts that slide in the track to attach. Two Dovetail nuts are inserted into the track and spaced to match two holes on the AP2.  A wider spacing is preferred. Two washers are placed on the track above the nuts, and an Adapter Plate 2 (or AP4) is attached with 1/4-20 bolts (provided).

The Adapter Plate is slid to the preferred placement, and the Wheelchair Bracket is attached. Optional offsets can be used to position the Wheelchair Bracket and Post as needed.
