Multi

The Multi frame has a base frame and a seat frame. Attaching to the seat frame allows continued access at different tilt angles.
Note the intersection of the tube beneath the seat with the side frame, and create a bridge clamp. Attach the Adapter Plate so it is horizontal. Attach an L-Angle to it, providing a vertical face to attach a Wheelchair Bracket.
There is a gap between the seat frame and the base frame. The Wheelchair Bracket needs to be outside the base frame.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Please compare your Multi-frame with the one pictured. They may differ, based on the seating system.

Use a horizontal Bridge clamp

Attach by creating a horizontal Bridge clamp, under the seat, where the two tubes join. Offset it laterally, to the outside of the frame, with the Adapter Plate. Attach an L-Angle to create a vertical attachment surface for the Wheelchair Bracket.
