Attach the Adapter Plate 2 using existing bolts and holes. Note where it is attached in the photo.
Note the two holes in the plate behind the armrests. You can see, on the opposite side, there are locknuts attached. Remove these bolts on the side you will attach to.
Attach the Adapter Plate 2. You may need longer bolts.
An L-Angle Extension is shown attached to the Adapter Plate 2 to offset/reposition the Wheelchair Bracket.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Attach the Adapter Plate 2 to the frame using existing bolts which secure other components. Offset the Wheelchair Bracket with an L-Angle Extension to avoid armrests.
