Fuze

Approach 1: Sandwich the tie down with an Adapter Plate 4. Approach 2: Attach Adapter Plate 4 with bolts and lock nuts, using the thru holes in the telescoping footrest bar if 2 or more holes are exposed.
Align the Adapter Plate so a hole and slot line up with the tie down bolts.
Insert the bolts and add a spacer.
Attach the AP4 with the 5/16" bolts and the spacers. Orient the AP4 so threaded holes are where it makes sense to attach the Wheelchair Bracket.
Adapter Plate 4 is attached. The L-Angle Extension plate or Wheelchair Bracket attach to the threaded holes with bolts provided.
Wheelchair Bracket attached directly to the AP4
An L-Angle Extension is shown attached to offset/reposition the Wheelchair Bracket.
Wheelchair Bracket is attached to the L-AE.
The Mount'n Mover is attached and can be positioned where it is needed.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Approach 1: Sandwich tie down hardware, using longer bolts and spacers.

Determine the hole and slot the bolts need to go through. Put the bolts through the Adapter Plate 4, using the large hole and slot combination. Place spacers on the bolts and insert into threaded holes that secure the tie downs. Once the AP4 is attached, attach an L-Angle Extension Plate to the AP4, and then attach the Wheelchair Bracket.
