Dynamo

The Dynamo has a tie-down and slide track, but space is tight.
Quantum Tie-Down
Remove the Quantum wheelchair tie-downs and replace the short bolt with the one supplied.
Sandwich the Adapter Plate between the chair and the tie-down
Use L-Angle Extension plates (WC-LAE) as Offsets
Approach 2: Insert T-nut behind Adapter Plate and tie-down; use L-Angle Extensions to avoid the armrest and position the Wheelchair Bracket.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Approach 1: Sandwich the tie-down hardware

Remove the tie-down. Insert the Adapter Plate 4 between the frame and the tie-down, using the longer bolt supplied. Use the 2 L-Angle Extensions to move around the armrest and attach the Solid Wheelchair Bracket. Use other offsets as needed.

Approach 2: Attach using a T-nut in the slide track.

Remove the tie-down and adjust screws that may interfere with the T-nut. Insert the T-nut, and slide behind the Tie-down if there is not enough room in front of it. Use the L-Angle Extensions to move out from under the armrest. Use other offsets to position the Wheelchair Bracket as needed.
