Bridge clamps: one horizontal and one vertical, with an AP2 adapter plate, and Solid Wheelchair Bracket.
The post cannot interfere with brake actuation. This person does not use footrests. He uses his legs to aid in propulsion.
The Wheelchair Bracket is positioned forward, so the brake may be actuated. The footrest plate is flipped up for transfers.
The Mount'n Mover is attached and can be positioned where it is needed.
Caster wheel bolted to wheelchair frame
Remove bolts holding caster wheel to frame
Remove the Caster and sandwich the Adapter plate between the caster and frame
Attach LAE adapter plate to the AP plate
Attach the WB2 to the LAE plate

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

How to mount: 

Approach 1: Attach using a Bridge Clamp with two 1" Bridge clamps and an Adapter Plate 2. Attach one to the horizontal tube, and one to the vertical tube, taking care so the footrest can still be removed if necessary. Use offsets to position the Wheelchair Bracket as needed.

How to mount: 

Approach 2: Sandwich an Adapter Plate (WC-AP) between the caster and frame. Longer bolts are required. Orient the Adapter Plate for attachment of the the Wheelchair Bracket or other Offsets, such as the L-Angle Extension if necessary.
