Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

The Quickie QM-710 can have a dovetail track, a T-nut track, or a tube with through holes, it depends on the seating.

Attach an Adapter Plate 4, using Dovetail nuts in the slide track (for Sedeo Ergo and Captain Seating).

* NOTE:  If your QM710 has ASAP Seating then you will need 1" Coved Spacer Set to attach the Adapter Plate 4 to the 1" diameter tubing seat rail (see picture).

***The Ultra Low Maxx Seating  from Motion Concepts has the T-Nut track**.

How to mount:

If the QM710 has ASAP Seating there will be 1" diameter tubing along the bottom of the seat.

Using the through holes in the 1" diameter tubing...attach the adapter plate using the 1" coved spacer set.  Then attach the WB2 (post clamp) to the adapter plate.  Offset the WB2  with an WC-LAE plate if needed to get around the armrest.
