SR45

The SR45 can be attached to using a Bridge clamp or by sandwiching an Adapter Plate between the frame and tie-down.
Attach bridge clamps to the horizontal tube and vertical tube, bridging them with an Adapter Plate.
The tie-down bolt goes through to a lock nut on the other side. Get longer bolts and sandwich an Adapter Plate 4.
Adapter Plate "sandwiched" between tie-down and wheelchair; attach the Wheelchair Bracket to the Adapter Plate.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Approach 2: Sandwich an Adapter Plate between the Tie-down and frame, using longer bolts and lock nuts.

Other hardware:

Longer bolts are needed.

Remove bolts, measure them and determine what type they are (5/16 or M8 bolts). To determine length, add 6mm or 1/4" in length to allow for Adapter Plate thickness.
