Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Use two Adapter Plate 4's to "sandwich" the downward-sloping frame. Be careful to choose hole and slot spacing so it is very secure, using 4 bolts and lock nuts. Use spacers or washers to allow for uniform spacing and tightening. Attach an Angle Adjustment Plate to allow vertical attachment of the L-Angle extension or Wheelchair Bracket. Attach the L-Angle if an offset is needed.

How to mount:

Approach 2: Custom drilling required.

Drill through the side frame in order to attach the Adapter Plate. Remember to position the Adapter Plate so the Serval still folds.

Secure the Adapter Plate with 1/4" bolts and lock nuts, spacing the holes as wide as possible.

Use the Angle Adjustment Plate to provide a vertical attachment. Attach the Wheelchair bracket.
