REA Dahlia 45

Approach 1a: Attach an Adapter Plate 2 directly to the armrest/tie-down plate if the Armrest is not attached; Approach 1b: if the Armrest is attached, remove the armrest bracket, get longer bolts, and sandwich the AP2 between the frame and bracket.
Approach 2: Possibly use a T-nut with the Brake attachment track. Attach an Adapter Plate 2 and/or an L-Angle extension plate to the T-nut to offset around the brakes. This has not been tested.

Offset options

Offsets attach to the wheelchair attachment hardware, and are used to:

  • Get around obstacles such as trays, brakes, footrests and armrests
  • Position the Wheelchair Bracket so the post is in the optimal position (post can be inserted and removed, brakes are unobstructed, footrests removed, accommodate the tray, etc)
  • Adjust the angle of the hardware and/or bracket to make sure the post is vertical

These plates can all be used to offset. To figure out which offset plate will work for you, see our Offset Guide.

How to mount:

Approach 1a: Attach an Adapter Plate 2 directly to the armrest/tie-down plate if the Armrest is not attached

Approach 1b: if the Armrest is attached, remove the armrest bracket, get longer bolts, and sandwich the AP2 between the frame and bracket.
